The ECPC was a new and exciting event for us! The athletes were determined, competitive and skilled...they raced for miles in open water and then raced on foot to the finish line. Many, at the front of the pack, completed their race near exhaustion but their fight for the prize was inspiring. Some, toward the back, crossed the finish line with laughter and smiles...still tired but their challenge was against themselves.

I really enjoyed meeting Todd and Amy. Like skilled figure skaters, they put on an exhibition that put a smile on everyone's face...just because they were having so much fun themselves!
